Donson the Wise (SC emcee by way of The Bronx) isn’t a newcomer to the game but now rebranding with his new name, teamed up with veteran producer Thanos Beats for their latest album Sword of the Nine. Despite his gritty voice, the album topics aren’t one sided hardbody rap themes, but instead cover a large array of topics aside from having skills on the mic, like how to carry yourself as a real man, taking care of your seeds, spirituality, cryptocurrency, departures from toxic relationships and plenty of other gems that come from a mature emcee who has uplifted themselves through talent, hard work and perseverance. He raps about the ugly side of life but also reminds you that he has overcome many obstacles to be here with the story he has to tell. Fully produced by Thanos Beats and features Aaqil Ali, Spit Gemz and the alter ego of Thanos Beats “Thavid Ruffin”, Sword of the Nine is a perfect introduction to Donson The Wise and we hope to hear more on the horizon!
