Speciez – Skill of a Quitter

Canadian Hip-Hop has tons of talent many people don’t explore enough! I could make a huge list (maybe in the future?) but now we’d like to showcase Speciez, from Toronto, Ontario! The opening track on his album Skill of a Quitter has a very 90’s era feel to it as does most the rest of the album. The blend of hard, anthem beats and relaxing soundscapes (most of them produced by Solomon Caine) paints a perfect picture for his artistic direction on this album! On John Lennon (produced by Profound) he even showcases a trail of harmonic vocals towards the end of his hooks that set him apart from many modern emcees. Most the album would cater to fans of artists like Jedi Mind Tricks, Mr Lif, Ill Bill, Molemen, Binary Star, Diabolic etc etc. like on tracks Skill (produced by Solomon Caine), Bruce Lee (produced by Spleen of Clifftop Vandalz) and Quitter (produced by Lay Low). Fully worth the $10 CAD ($7.88 USD) Skill of a Quitter belongs to have at the very least, a few rotations in your audio players!
